Interdisciplinary Pediatric Psychological Trauma Conference Start: “He’s too young to remember!” How often have you heard that? Childhood Obesity 2010: The Next Generation of Prevention and Management Start: Purpose of Training: • To address the science behind obesity and provide a science-based foundation for understanding the complex issues of childhood obesity. • To give attendees practical tools to implement at their work sites. Presentations will place emphasis on cultural issues to acknowledge the diverse population of children and youth in the Bay Area. Obesity will be examined from a clinical and public health perspective. Exhibiters will showcase their work related to obesity, services and tools. Inclusion Symposium - The Power and Impact of Inclusion (Team Training) Start: Description: Create a Successful Inclusion Team! Teams must include at least 3 of the following: Administrators, Parents, Early Childhood Teachers & Early Childhood Spec Ed Teachers from the SAME PROGRAM. Inclusion Coaches will be assigned to each team (must attend all sessions) Target Audience: Early childhood education teachers, administrators, parents
