Dr. Leticia Pelayo served previously as a FIRST 5 commissioner from 2011-2016 as the representative for the Health and Hospital System. She brings a wealth of experience as a practicing pediatrician who has worked at the Valley Health Center in Gilroy and currently works at Kaiser Permanente.

Dr. Pelayo earned her Medical Degree from Stanford Medical School where she learned to make the most of her education and to ensure that she makes a difference every day.
