Quality Matters
Community of Practice Facilitator: Request for Applications

This RFA is competitive andintended toidentifyone or more qualified facilitatorsto deliver one or more in-personCoPsessions, based on participant needs, scheduling considerations, and facilitator expertise.  While proposals will not be scored or ranked in a traditional manner, funding is limited, and not all submissions may be selected. Proposals will be reviewed for alignment, readiness, andoverall fit with the identified Community of Practice needs.   

 

RFP: Outsourced IT Services

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County has published this Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive information technology (IT) outsourced services. Our goal is to enhance operational efficiency, ensure consistent system availability as needed, and provide scalable IT support aligned with business growth.

Family Preparedness Grant: Request for Proposals

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County is now accepting proposals for our Family Preparedness grant. This opportunity supports community-based organizations providing Family Preparedness services to help families with young children, especially immigrant and mixed-status families, plan ahead, protect parental decision-making, and ensure children remain safe and supported during times of uncertainty. Collaboration Interest & Partner Matching

To support organizations interested in applying for the Family Preparedness Grant as a collaborative, FIRST 5 Santa Clara County is providing a voluntary partner matching sheet where organizations may share their information and connect with potential partners. This tool is provided for networking purposes only. FIRST 5 does not monitor or facilitate partnerships, and participation in this list will not be considered during the grant review process.

Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) Quality Improvement: Request for Applications

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County is seeking applications for our Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) Quality Improvement efforts. Partners who are interested in continuing, growing, of beginning their Family, Friend, and Neighbor engagement work are encouraged to apply. Funded in part by Quality Counts California (QCC) this funding is intended to increase the quality of early learning and care in informal care settings such as FFNs. Information can be found here. The deadline to apply is Friday, November 21 at 5 p.m.

Standing Firm for Families: Emergency Funds Administering Agency Invitation to Apply

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County (“FIRST 5”), as part of its Standing Firm for Families Initiative, seeks an administering agency to provide direct, flexible financial assistance to families in Santa Clara County with children prenatal through age five who have been impacted by adverse immigration-related events, policies, or environments occurring after January 1, 2025. The fund is designed to address emergency needs and stabilize families through rapid, community-rooted support.

Evaluation Consultant Services RFQ

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County is soliciting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to serve as our evaluation partner as outlined in this RFQ. The individual or firm will carry out the evaluation, providing insights to enhance the effectiveness and impact of FIRST 5’s programs and funding decisions.

Family Childcare Leadership Conference Planner RFQ

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County seeks to secure the services of a conference planner who will support the successful implementation of the 3rd Annual Shared Services Alliance Family Childcare Leadership Conference Event that will be held in 2025. The consultant, in collaboration with the FIRST 5 Shared Services Alliance team, shall provide support that may include but is not limited to: management of conference administrative and logistics tasks, securing vendors including location and food, contract development, and post-event reporting and evaluation requirements.

Stronger Systems, Stronger Families Initiative RFP

The Stronger Systems, Stronger Families Initiative strives to connect families to the resources, services, and support they need in order to raise healthy children, prenatal through five years. To do this, FIRST 5 seeks proposals from qualified organizations to conduct various activities that enhance systems of care as culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and healing-centered. This opportunity is currently closed to new submissions and is in review. Please stay tuned for announcements of grantees.
