FIRST 5 Santa Clara County supports Family Child Care Home providers, as well as family, friend, and neighbor childcare providers, with access to professional training opportunities throughout the year.

Free Virtual Professional Development Opportunity

ASQ-3 & ASQ-SE are a set of questionnaires about children’s development. It has been used for more than 20 years to make sure children are developing well. ASQ-3 can help identify a child’s strengths as well as any areas where a child may need support. ASQ-SE focuses on a child’s social emotional development.

When: Thursday, March 26 & Friday, March 27 at 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

In partnership with the California Early Care and Education Workforce Registry, early educators in our Quality Matters network can access free trainings that strengthen childcare environments, curriculum options, and strategies for supporting children’s challenging behaviors.
